Saints do not cease on their quest to improve the roster, adding veteran presence in Nigel Bradham. He signs with the Saints on a one-year deal, with finances yet to be released. Bradham was widely considered as one of the top linebackers on the market, after Philadelphia Eagles declined option in his contract, making him a free agent, similar to Malcolm Jenkins.

The ninth-year veteran comes to the Saints after four years with Buffalo Bills. Previously with the Eagles, bringing more depth and experience to the Saints roster. In 2019, Bradham recorded 61 tackles with 2 tackles for a loss along with one interception. Overall, he played in 115 games in his career and proved valuable in Eagles’ championship run. Kiko Alonso’s health is a question mark but Bradham should step into the primary backup role right away. He possesses the ability to start from day one. With his coverage ability, he serves as a very solid contingency in case of Alex Anzalone’s injury.
