But the state of Louisiana is known for the resiliency of their residents. ESPN re-aired the 2006 Saints homecoming against the Falcons and fans could not have been more hyped. It is amazing how that game brings back so many memories and gave hope to everyone affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Throughout the Brees – Payton era, there have been a plethora of comebacks, clutch wins and blowout victories. For your viewing pleasure, here is a list of best Saints games to keep you occupied during quarantine.
Drew Brees and Deshawn Watson go back and forth in a high scoring nail biter. This game is a two vs one as New Orleans battles the refs officiating gaffes. Refs blow multiple calls in the first game after the Rams vs Saints no call playoff loss .
Wil Lutz has the game on his shoulders with a 58-yard field goal as time expires on a Monday night game that had three scoring plays in the final minute.
This game is the first season opener win since 2013.
Week 3 – Saints at Seahawks 2019
Three years after a knee injury that almost ended his career, Teddy Bridgewater has his first meaningful start for the New Orleans Saints.
Teddy throws two touchdowns that are complimented by special teams and defense. Deonte Harris returns a punt for a 53 yard touchdown. Vonn Bell picks up Chris Carson’s fumble for a TD in the second quarter.

Alvin Kamara accumulates 161 yards, 69 yards on the ground and 92 yards on nine pass receptions.
Week 7 – Saints at Bears 2019
Teddy Bridgewater and the New Orleans Saints fight to win 5 games in a row without future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees.
Drew Brees was not the only player missing this game, Teddy Bridgewater did not have Alvin Kamara or Jared cook to help him this game.

Michael Thomas and Latavius Murray take control of the game as Bridgewater throws for 281 yards and two touchdowns.
Week 8 – Saints vs Cardinals 2019
Brees returns after five weeks from his thumb injury to throw for 373 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Another quarterback was ready to return to form. Taysom Hill was limited the 5 weeks that Drew Brees was out by conservative play calling in case of a Bridgewater injury. Taysom is able to return to form as one of the most versatile players in the game. Hill beats a slot corner back in the red zone to score a touchdown and receive a 36 yard pass on the next drive.
Week 12 – Saints vs Panthers 2019
New Orleans builds a lead to start the game by scoring 17 points, but the Panthers came to play. This game is a true division rival fight that is considered one of the best games of 2019. The game is once again in the hands of Drew Brees and Wil Lutz in the final seconds of the game.
Week 13 – Saints at Falcons 2019
Taysom Hill sets up his own 3 yard touchdown catch by blocking a punt. This is followed by a 30 yard rushing touchdown bu Taysom Hill.

This win clinched NFC South title for the New Orleans Saints for the third year in a row.
Week 14 – Saints vs 49ers
Ask any NFL fan what the game of the year was in 2019 and most will say Saints vs 49ers. Much like Saints vs Texans and Saints vs Panthers, the New Orleans Saints vs San Francisco 49ers game is a nail biter to the last seconds.
Per @ESPNStatsInfo, the 55 points and 581 yards that Saints and 49ers combined for in the first half were the most of any NFL game since 2014.
When the highlight reel is 15 minutes long you know a game is going to be good.
This game was a match up of two 10-2 teams fighting for the 1 seed in the NFC. The first half starts with 55 points which is the most by two teams since 2014. After four quarters there are 5 lead changes and there are 94 points on the scoreboard, unfortunately the Saints are on the wrong side of the score .
