An Eye on the Enemy: The Falcons Select Deadrin Senat in the Third

With the 90th pick the draft, the Falcons selected USF DT Deadrin Senat. I’ve openly talked about how much I love this dude. His story is amazing and though he’s got to develop a bit, if he gets there he’ll be a force.

Senat will be a fantastic nose tackle if he puts in the work and there’s no reason to believe he won’t. At 6’0″ 314 pounds, he’s a well-put-together interior lineman. His motivation, determination, and durability are what set him apart from other prospects for me. He’ll fit well into their 4-3 system.

I’ll give this one a 5/10. I love the pick because I’m all about the player, but they just lost Dontarai Poe and Senat will eventually take his place in the interior. But whether or not he’ll live up to Poe will remain to be seen. So I’d consider this one a pretty neutral pick in terms of our match up with the Falcons.
